Real Estate Celestun
Celestun is a quaint fishing village that is starting to grow. This is a small community where the
residents are interested in the wildlife and ecosystem. Here is a quiet paradise, located right on
the beach, in a protected biosphere. There is land available, both along the beach and one street
off the beach. The land is still reasonably priced. The community is growing with the New Manglares
Hotel, several wonderful seafood restaurants and a tour industry for the wildlife. There has also been
a growth in the development of beachfront homes and vacation home rentals. The development of this area
is similar as to what was experienced in Playa del Carmen a few decades past. Real Estate is still a
very good investment in this area due to its upwards growth and increasing popularity. Leona and Gary,
two Canadians currently living fulltime in Celestun, are very involved in the development of beachfront
